This year’s event honored ‘artist Helen Pashgian, an influential pioneer of Southern California’s Light and Space movement, along with trailblazing Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook,’ according to the event’s website.
The proceeds from the event will help LACMA curate new ‘exhibitions, acquisitions, and educational programming, in addition to screenings that explore the intersection of art and film.’
